From today till May 13th , all the chess fans in the United States will be following the national championship in Saint Louis, where the 24 men and 10 women will be competing for the national titles in their divisions. And Brooklyn will be strongly represented there- in both groups players from our borough are favorites by rating- Grandmaster Gata Kamsky in the men’s group and International Master Irina Krush in the women’s group.
